The publication is a short summary of the German study on "Life situations of and pressures on disabled women in Germany". In the present study 1561 women with disabilities were interviewed about their general life situation and their experiences of discrimination and violence in Germany. Structured questionnaires as well as open interviews were conducted to better understand the specific experiences of violence that women with disabilities are exposed to.
