Sabine Fries is scientist and sign language lecturer at the Humboldt University in Berlin, board member of the Society of Sign Language and Communication of the Deaf Association ("Gesellschaft für Gebärdensprache und Kommunikation Gehörloser e.V.") and member of the board of the German Association of the Deaf ("Deutscher Gehörlosenbund").
