What do women with disabilities need in case of violence?

An European meeting in the context of this EU-Daphne projcet took place in Vienna from 23rd till 26th of June 2014, which was organised by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights.

25 women with and without disabilites engaged at disability organisations, women’s support providers and universities from Iceland, United Kingdom, Germany and Austria participated at the meeting. The aim was to learn from each other, share experiences and develop commonly criteria, in order to identify „good-practices“ in the field of support for women with disabilities who have experienced violence.
