Julia Planitzer

Project lead
Julia Planitzer studied law at the University of Vienna and has been working as researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM) since 2008. Her research focuses on the implementation of the human rights-based approach, women’s rights and trafficking in human beings especially in Austria, Romania and Georgia. She is representing the BIM within the Austrian Task Force on Trafficking in Human Being, is consulting the Austrian Foreign Ministry on this topic and is involved in various EU-Twinning projects on Trafficking in Human beings and Gender Equality. She also published several scientific articles and studies.
